Over the past few months I've been stumbling across more and more photography challenges. Many people have created lists of things they want to photograph in a certain time period, whether that be a photo a day or week, or a season or holiday.
I've decided to do this too
However, I'm not setting a challenge of a photo a week or day, I'm creating a list of things I want to take photos of and am hoping to complete this by the end of the year !
I intend take more than one photo per idea if I fall upon more than one photo I can use !
You may be asking why I'm telling you this ?
Well I'm going to be posting the photos I take to this blog, each one with a story behind why I took it and the meaning behind the photograph. I want to be able to document this in a place I won't be able to lose it !
I'm not actually going to be posting the list of things I'm going to aim to photograph, my reason being I think I'll end up adding to it over time ! All the photos I take for this project will be posted on this blog s over time you'll be able to get an idea of the list I created.
Until next time, remember to keep holding onto the moments.

Obsessed WIth Social Media ?
The other day I stumbled across an old newspaper article.
This article contained the statement 'Young people today have become obsessed with social networking sites which are a bad influence and can take over their lives These sites should be banned.'
And yet, while I agree that some young people have become 'obsessed' but I think it's wrong to stereotype all young people in this way. As a teenage girl I can safely say that not all young people rely on social media to live their lives. Like sure, a lot of my life is spent online but I don't think it controls my life or that I'm influenced by it, at least not in a bad way.
Social networking sites are only a 'bad influence' when used incorrectly.
This is something many people fail to realise.
Simply talking to a friend over the internet is not causing any harm to anyone.
In fact, the internet is a great place to keep in touch with old friends who have moved away or even meet new friends. I actually met one of my best friends thanks to Tumblr (there will be more of her at a later date).
Yes sometimes the bad things on the internet can have extreme impacts on young peoples lives but this is not so much the social media sites but the people who are using them. The fact that some people take advantage of talking to people on the internet by sending hurtful and abusive messages disgusts me. I don't understand what would make someone think it is acceptable to send people those messages.
There is nothing wrong with social media, it's just the new form of communication, much like putting pen to paper used to be common trend.
I also think it is unfair that media sources such as Newspapers are often so quick to stereotype and assume things that are untrue.
The point I'm trying to make is that I think social networking sites have been given a bad name by the media which gives a false impression to the other generations. Due to the bad name given by televised media, more people have started to look at the few negative aspects of social networking sites instead of the positive aspects they have.
If it weren't for the internet and social media I wouldn't be writing this blog and I wouldn't be half as confident as I am now. The internet helps people grow stronger and by banning these websites people have the ability to loose any confidence they may have and may struggle to connect with old friends or express their views in the way I am doing.
Until next time, remember to keep holing onto the moments.

Hi
So I've decided to start a blog.
This Blog.
Why, you may ask ?
And my reason?
My reason being that everyone has a way of holding onto the moments they go through, whether that be through photo albums, a diary or even sharing things online for everyone to see. People have often told me that I should do the same but it never really worked. I'd start a diary and keep it for about a week before giving up. And even then the entries would be a couple of lines long and about the most boring topics like 'It rained today. Again. English weather is awful. Can't wait for the summer. Oh I'm having pasta tonight this should be nice' .
And people wonder why these things never last .
And the thought of keeping a diary doesn't really appeal to me. I doubt I'd ever read any entries back. So it seems like a bit of a waste to me. That's why I'm making this blog. It's a way I can say what I want, how I want and when I want without the fear of people judging me.
That's why this blog is staying anonymous. So I can be 100% me and not be influenced by anyone else.
I guess I just want this blog to be a place for people to express themselves and not feel scared to be judged by anyone. Without being scared to express themselves
Also I love taking photos as I think they are the perfect way to hold onto moments of time so be expecting lots of these on here.
Okay, I think that's all for now so thank you all for reading (If any of you actually are !!!!) and let me know what you think in the comments below.
Until next time, remember to keep holing onto the moments.
